GanbaFlash / Legal
Terms of
Service
1. Service and Acceptance
GanbaFlash is a platform for bouldering and climbing competitions. It provides user accounts, Monthly Competitions, Special Competitions, result recording, rankings, competition management, public Special final results, social posts, gym information, and Floor Maps. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts and Users Under 18
You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly notify us of unauthorized use. Users under 18 may use GanbaFlash only with consent from a parent or legal representative. Competition publication purchases may be made only by users aged 18 or older; a user under 18 may not purchase a competition publication under their own account even with parental consent.
3. Competitions and Organizer Responsibilities
GanbaFlash provides the technical platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, each gym or competition organizer is responsible for its competition operation, rules, scoring, safety, participants, prizes, cancellations, and inquiries. Questions about a specific competition should be directed to its gym or organizer.
4. Competition Management
Organizers must use the Service lawfully and provide information they have authority to publish. GanbaFlash may reasonably moderate, restrict, suspend, or remove competition content or functions to protect users, maintain service operation, address safety or integrity concerns, or comply with law. A platform display or ranking does not replace an organizer's rules or decisions.
5. Competition Publications and Payments
Each Monthly Competition publication purchase and each Special Competition publication purchase is a one-time consumable in-app purchase tied directly to its target competition. No reusable balance or Competition Credit is issued, and no bundle is sold. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store using the payment method set for the purchaser's Apple Account. RevenueCat is used for purchase integration and verification, not as a payment method. GanbaFlash does not directly store full payment card numbers or security codes.
6. Refunds and Payment Disputes
Because these are digital services, cancellations and refunds after purchase are generally unavailable, except where required by law. Refund requests for purchases made through the App Store, and whether a refund is granted, follow Apple's procedures and decision. Payment disputes should be raised promptly with GanbaFlash and, where appropriate, Apple.
7. Public Results, Posts, Gym Information, and Floor Maps
Nicknames, rankings, competition results, entry numbers, classes, and related competition information may be displayed as part of competition functions. Public Special Final Live may be viewed without login. The Service must not intentionally expose email addresses, birth dates, authentication identifiers, or payment information. You retain ownership of your posts, but grant GanbaFlash the limited rights needed to store, display, moderate, and operate them. You must have the necessary rights and authority to submit posts, gym information, or Floor Maps. Floor Maps are general guidance, not official evacuation or architectural plans.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not impersonate another person; harass or threaten others; submit unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful content; access accounts or systems without authorization; manipulate results or payments; bypass security; distribute malware; resell competition publication purchases; or interfere with the Service. We may take reasonable action, including content removal, access restriction, suspension, or account termination, in response to these or other material violations.
9. Suspension and Account Deletion
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion through the available account process. Account deletion does not necessarily delete every record immediately. Payment, tax, accounting, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute, moderation, security, competition-integrity, and historical-result records may be retained or de-identified where necessary. Completed Special Competition operational data is generally cleaned up approximately 14–21 days after completion, and Monthly Competition operational data approximately 90–97 days after completion. Scheduled cleanup, backups, security logs, legal obligations, disputes, or investigations may extend retention.
10. Intellectual Property and Service Changes
GanbaFlash and its related software, design, trademarks, and materials are protected by applicable law. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is transferred. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including competition functions, where reasonably necessary for operation, safety, legal compliance, or improvement. Organizers and users remain responsible for content they submit.
11. Safety, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability
Climbing participation is at your own judgment and must follow the safety rules and instructions of the relevant gym or organizer. GanbaFlash does not guarantee a competition's safety, availability, scoring, prizes, results, or organizer conduct. To the extent permitted by law, GanbaFlash is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages, or losses arising from organizer operation, network failures, third-party services, or user conduct. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Changes, Governing Law, Language, and Contact
We may change these Terms by posting an updated version; the updated Terms apply from the stated effective date. Japanese law governs these Terms, and the Japanese version prevails over any translation. The court of first instance is the Nagoya District Court or Okazaki Summary Court, as applicable.
